Every day places greater and greater demands on our already over-stimulated, time-crunched, complex lives. This workshop guides participants toward a rediscovery and exploration of the ancient art of contemplation--and the sense of wholeness and peace that it offers.
This is a very experiential workshop, one that draws upon diverse wisdom practices:
- Lectio Divina (divine, or sacred reading)
- Sacred word meditation
- Shared meaning and dialogue
- Mindful walking
- Exploring your values
- Intentional living, breathing meditation, and much more!
Contemplation opens the door for more meaningful life choices, conscious relationships and being more joyful, creative, and productive at work and play.
You will contemplate how to meaningfully use technology, time, activities, and appetite (physical and emotional) in your life. This workshop will also help you discover how to recognize the obstacles to contemplation and how to gain freedom from fixed and limiting mindsets.
